Your listing goes live on cratejoy.com when five steps are done. Your Launch List (the first page after you log in, also in the left menu) shows the same five steps, how many are done, and the one button for each step left. Your welcome email lists them too.
The Five Steps to Go Live
- Create your account. Done when you sign up.
- Add your subscription. Name your subscription, set its price, and choose how often it ships. Use Add Your Subscription on the Launch List. More in Adding a Subscription Product.
- Connect payouts. Cratejoy pays you for every marketplace order through Cratejoy Payments. Use Connect Payouts to connect Stripe for live payouts. If Stripe asks for more details, the step shows Finish Stripe Setup. More in Configuring Cratejoy Payments.
- Choose your plan. A paid plan is needed to take orders. Your free trial lets you set everything up, but your listing can't go live on the trial. Use See Plans to pick one.
- Publish your listing. Write your listing, add at least 5 photos, and select Publish. Use Create a Listing on the Launch List. More in Submitting Your Marketplace Listing and Cratejoy Listing: Images.
Add your subscription before your listing, since the listing sells it. Payouts and your plan can come before or after you publish. If you publish first, step 5 tells you which steps are left.
The Last Click: Launch Your Store
New stores start in test mode. Once your listing is published and payouts and your plan are done, step 5 shows Launch Your Store. Select it and confirm to leave test mode and put your listing on cratejoy.com. You can also turn test mode off in Settings. See Leave Test Mode.
How You Know You're Live
When your listing is on sale, step 5 reads Live on cratejoy.com and the Launch List shows a Your listing is live card with a link to your listing. In Product Listings, the listing's status reads Live. If it reads Not Live, see Is My Listing Live?
