This guide summarizes the fees sellers can see on Cratejoy Marketplace and Cratejoy-hosted storefront orders. Your plan, payment method, account configuration, and order source determine which fees apply.

Marketplace Plan and Transaction Fees
The current public Marketplace-only offer starts at $24.99 per month, plus a 1.25% + $0.10 transaction fee. Marketplace referral fees also apply. Existing or contracted accounts can have different plan terms, so use the rate shown in your account when it differs from the public offer.
Cratejoy Payments Processing Fees
- Marketplace: 2.9% + $0.30 per processed transaction for eligible U.S. sellers.
- Cratejoy-hosted storefront: the standard application rate is 2.8% + $0.30 per processed transaction, unless an account-specific rate applies.
Payment-processing fees are assessed on the gross order amount, including shipping and tax when applicable.
Marketplace Referral Fees
The current published Marketplace referral rate is 15% across categories. Referral fees apply to the initial order and subsequent renewals. Review the Marketplace referral fee schedule for the policy and effective-date details.
Offsite Ads Fees
The current default Offsite Ads rate is 6% for both month-to-month and prepay orders. Account-specific overrides can apply. This fee is charged only when an eligible Offsite Ad is attributed to the order, and it does not apply to renewals.

Do Fees Apply to Renewals?
Yes. Marketplace referral, transaction, and payment-processing fees can apply to renewal orders. Offsite Ads fees do not apply to renewals.
When Are Fees Charged?
Order-related fees are calculated and deducted when the order is processed. Your invoice, order details, and transaction export show the recorded amounts.
What Happens When I Issue a Refund?
Issue refunds through the Merchant Portal so Cratejoy can recalculate the applicable fees. For partial or full refunds, the Payment Processing Fee and other applicable fees are recalculated against the adjusted sale amount. The resulting difference is reflected in the seller’s Payment Account. Some flat, deposit, buyer, or account-specific fees can be handled differently, so review the order-level fee breakdown after the refund.
How Can I Review My Fees?
For a date range, open Analytics → General → General Analytics by Month, then select Export → All Transactions.
For one order, open the order details page from the Merchant Portal search.
The All Transactions export includes separate columns for transaction, referral, payment-processing, flat-rate, currency-conversion, Offsite Ads, credit, and seller-payment amounts.
